We had our 3rd annual Halloween get-together with neighbors and friends. It's so nice to live close to the town of Leesburg for this very big event! Leesburg boasts the biggest, longest Halloween Parade east of the Mississippi! Very cool when you are a kid collecting candy! This year we had a prince/knight (aka Ollie), a giraffe (Ruth), Hulk(Henry), Spiderman (Kellan) and a cute little pink kitty (Lily), which I'm sad we didn't get a picture of. Quite the eclectic group, I'd say. After a quick dinner of soup and corn muffins, we bundled up and walked to the parade.
Ollie and Coco snuggling to stay warm. Laura and Ruth enjoying the parade from a distance(Ruth wasn't so sure of the loud bands playing)
Kellan running out in the middle of the street trying to collect every piece of candy he can. I had to restrain him a few times! He and Ollie worked pretty well together collecting candy. It was funny to watch them. If one got more then the other, they kindly shared with each other. Now if they could just do that with toys! :) By the end of the parade, they had some very heavy bags!
