Outside/Inside

Henry must like to go places, because he's always trying to put his coat on. He'll reach up to the chair it's hanging on and pull it down. With grunting noises, he trys to get it on. These are from one morning when he came crawling out to the kitchen with it on his head. Funny boy!

Just another day playing in my coat!

And trying to get Kellan out of his jammies is no small task! What's with you boys??

BLOB League-Practice 1

So after talking it over with my girlfriends, we decided that spending money on "organized" sports for our 3 year olds was probably not the best thing. So, we decided to form our own little league, The BLOB League. BLOB just stands for the first letter of each of our last names (Blair,Luhring, O'Shaugnessy, Burke). We all have plenty of balls, bats, nets, etc and had our first "practice" at a local school ball field/track/playground. It was funny to watch them. They played one thing for about 10 minutes and moved on to something else. Majority of the time spent on the playground. So I guess our money was best saved!

Henry is looking around for someone to play ball with. He occasionally would make a fast crawl out onto the field, hoping to get in on some action. Wesley was content under his blanket and then decided to take a long nap. Good boy!!

Our little ladies: Lily and Sylvie. Sylvie is ready to play! Lily is okay with hanging out in her pink cuteness!

I think we have some soccer going on turning into a wrestling match! Who's coaching these kids anyway??!

Definitely not the ladies who are busy standing around chatting!!

Snack time: Something Henry will not miss!!

This was funny. We have 4 boys, all around the same age and weighing the same. Sorry kids, but the teeter-totter just isn't going to work. Especially when your legs won't even touch the ground. Thankfully Bryan was helping to push!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Happy Birthday to Daddy and Happy St.Patrick's Day!! It's always a fun day for everyone when March 17th rolls around. I took the kids to visit Daddy at work for his birthday. We embarrassed him with 2 big helium balloons that the boys carried in for him. Kellan took charge over the desk area while Henry was only interested in Brutus the fish.

Next stop: Red Robin for lunch. Since it was the business crowd, we made quite the scene with our 2 loud boys! We need to work a little bit on our restaurant etiquette!

Kellan immediately spotted "the claw" game when we walked in, so who promised him a chance to play?? Daddy, of course! Usually impossible to win, Tim was able to pull out this extra large Bart Simpson doll. Gee, just what we needed, another stuffed thing!! Kellan was definitely very happy! An attempted picture of the boys.

It was a gorgeous sunny day, so we spent the afternoon in the driveway getting everything we could out of the garage. Nice stance Kellan!

Kellan's my safety guy, always wanting his helmet on when scootering or biking. Henry I think will be my little daredevil. Ready to walk!

A festive dinner for Daddy! All his favorites: twice baked potatoes, steak and cake!!

Since we finished dinner so late, everyone got their jammies on before we sang and cut the cake. Nothing like a little cake and ice cream(aka sugar) before bed!! :)
Happy Birthday Honey, We Love You Bunches!! XOXO

Happy 3rd Birthday to Wyatt!

We bundled up for a chilly, park birthday celebration for Kellan's friend Wyatt. It was perfect to get the boys outside to burn some energy! Daddy is in Columbus, OH all weekend cheering on niece Kelly in the state gymnastic meet. (which ends with her winning the whole thing!!). So, Mommy is flying solo with the boys. We had pizza with Ollie and Coco. Sang "Happy Birthday" to Wy-Wy and continued on with playing in the park.

Here comes the firetruck with Kellan and Brady driving, watch out!

Kellan and Brady checking out the stars. Henry climbing thru the tunnels. He didn't mind the wood chips that he had on him from head to toe!

Brady and Kellan riding the alligator. There seems to be a consistent them here....Brady and Kellan. They played so well together. I think they have similar personalities, both somewhat hesitant and shy. And very sweet, of course! Kellan did not want to leave unless Brady was leaving too. On the car ride home, Kellan repeatedly asked if Brady could come to his house to play. Brady is exactly one month younger then Kellan.

Henry and Sylvie sitting on an alligator....and that's about it! :) These two are also one month apart, but Sylvie is the older one. Sylvie and Brady are siblings. Sylvie is slightly more mobile then Henry, so Henry couldn't quite keep up. Sorry Henry, you gotta learn to walk bud!
Fun day at the park! Naps for everyone!

The Perfect Patient

It's hard to believe a year has past since our little "munch" came into this world. And he has brought us so many smiles and giggles. Henry is such a happy guy and so content. Just goes with the flow. Now that he is slightly more mobile and communicative, Kellan and him have become quite the pair. Henry just lights up when he sees his big brother and same goes for Kellan. I love watching this brother relationship blossom!

Today was Henry's 1 year check up. He found the crinkly table paper enjoyable and it ended up in one big ball by the time we left. Each room has chimes which is another great distraction! Like I said, Henry is pretty easy to please, especially if binky and blankie are along! So where are we at on the charts?? Well, as you can see in the pictures, you could probably take a wild guess that he is definitely getting enough to eat! Henry is in the 70th percentile for weight (24.3#), slightly larger then Kellan was at this age, but very close. Only 33% for height (29.5 inches), so we have a little growing to do in that department! And to top it off, a very large head (brain!) at 90%! I'd say he's thriving!! :)
