Memorial Day at Dinosaur Park

We spent a very hot and humid Memorial Day morning at Dinosaur park with our friends, the Blair's and O'Shaunessey's(Coco and Ollie only). The boys didn't seem to care about the heat as they ran around sweating.

Strawberry Festival

We headed west out to the rolling hills for the Delaplaine Strawberry Festival. Perfect warm day to enjoy the sunshine and many activities they had there.

First stop was the puppet show about the headless horseman.



Next up, the petting zoo and tractor rides.

Kellan opted for a football face tattoo. He held very still!

Then Kellan got to be a part of the "Flea Magic Show". Great job! The man with the monkey wasn't a huge hit, so we didn't stay to watch him too long.

An afternoon shower had us ducking for cover. Kellan wouldn't miss an opportunity to throw some rocks in the puddles.

After a very busy morning/afternoon, the boys were quick to take a car nap.

Water Babies

Summer is here, so that means it's time to clean the water table and put it on the deck. Kellan helped me get it all cleaned up and filled with fresh water while Henry was napping. I was excited to see Henry's reaction to it. Of course, he was ready to just about dive in. He's my water baby!!

It didn't take long for the clothes to come off. Not sure why I just didn't put them in their swimsuits to begin with!

Ohio Time

A quick trip to Ohio to help Grandparent Burke's pack up for their big move in a few weeks. Kellan and Henry got some good quality grandparent time!! We can never have enough of that!

Spent some time at the park down the street from G'ma's.

Perfect day for a picnic on the patio.

Oh how we wish we had a great big back yard to run around and play ball in. We certainly enjoyed G'ma and G'pa's!! The boys could have played out there for hours (and they did). Their neighbors were so kind as to give us their garage code to borrow all their toys while they were away.

Puppies, legos and more

To Ohio we go....first stop is always Auntie Darlene's and Uncle Jeff's to drop off Harmony (at Jeff's Vet Clinic where she gets extra special treatment!). Then to their house for a quick hello. Kellan was very excited to meet the 10 puppies their dog Leah had a few weeks ago. So cute!! Henry wasn't so sure, but then warmed up to them and gave them some pats on the head. :)


Off to G'ma and G'pa Lanzs' for an overnight. Always fun to play out on their patio and driveway. We got every ride-on toy and ball out. Cousin Noah was there too.

G'ma has lots of cool toys, like legos! Kellan has been very much into the little lego guys and can play with them for hours! Love the tongue out concentration! Of course we always end up bringing something home with us.
