Meet Henry Theodore Burke, born early this morning(2-18-10) at 1:04am. Mom was in labor for most of the day Weds and decided it was time to go in around 8:30pm. She was 4cm dilated and progressed pretty fast with much relief after the epidural was put in! 3 big pushes and out he came. We were so surprised to see boy parts since we were feeling pretty certain baby was going to be a girl. We are certainly prepared for a boy though and couldn't be happier!! Kellan will have a best bud! Ok, stats: 6 lbs, 15 oz, 19 3/4 inches long. Lots and lots of black hair.
His name comes from a combo of his great-grandfathers. Mommy's G'pa Henry Lanz and Daddy's G'pa John Theodore Stone. It took us until about 7am to decide on this name. We had been up in the air on boys names. Big brother Kellan was home sleeping in his bed with our super neighbor Missy staying with. He didn't even realize what had happened. Daddy made it back home this morning before he woke up and explained to him where Mommy was and that he had a baby brother. His response.."milk". The first thing he always wants in the morning. :) Looking forward to introducing Henry to Kellan tomorrow. We'll keep you posted with more pictures, so stay tuned!
