Mommy flew to Chicago last weekend to visit her dear friend Jenni, her husband Jamie and to finally meet their now 10 1/2 month old son, James. Kellan and Daddy had a boys weekend at home. Since I took the camera, I don't have pictures of their time together. I know they spent lots of time outside at the park, raking leaves and just having fun together. It was a gorgeous 70 degree, sunny weekend. After picking me up at the airport, we headed downtown to Lincoln Park and checked out the zoo. James loved watching the monkeys and gorillas. Even though it's only been a year that Kellan was this age, it's already hard to remember exactly what he was doing. Sad!

Jenni and Jamie got a sitter so we could enjoy an adult night out. We checked out a new restaurant in town. Here we are in our photo shoot done by Jamie. Jenni is 3 weeks ahead of me with her 2nd one. They are having another boy. It's always refreshing to spend time with a special girlfriend, we just wished we lived a little closer! We did all our favorite things together: eat, shop,eat,relax,eat,spa,eat,walk,eat.....get the idea?!
