The Lanz family arrived Friday evening after Kellan's friends left. Kellan was ready to go after all that ice cream cake. He welcomed them right in and the big time wrestling started! Looks like Devan was the victim in this photo. Jayde got some hugs from the birthday boy. She's probably his number one fan and second little mother!
Saturday was the second, 2nd birthday party for Kellan. He had the hang of it this time around. Knew exactly what to do with the candles and the cake. He even sang along to himself and happily clapped his hands. He now knows how old he is when asked, "I'm Tee-oo!" He can't quite get the 2 fingers up though, but he tries. Mommy's pretty proud of how her cupcakes turned out. I thought for sure Kellan would grab for an Elmo, but he chose Cookie. Auntie Darlene was the lucky one to help with that messy blue cupcake.
Yep, more presents! And of course, what did Kellan get for his 2nd birthday? A Tickle Me Elmo doll! It's been in his bed with him every night since. A cute furry Tiger backpack, books and more Elmo slippers were found in the bags from the cousins.
We geared up in our Ohio State stuff and went for a hike at Balls Bluff Saturday morning in prep for the big OSU vs Michigan game.

Last minute hugs with Devan before they had to head home. Kellan has such a ball with his cousins. I know I've said this many times, but we cherish the times together and so wish we lived a little closer!! Kellan with Daddy after a fun filled weekend, all tuckered out!!
