My cousin Tony Manz, his wife Denise and 6 adorable kids, along with my U. Ken and A. Gwen came to DC for the weekend. Half the group stayed overnight with us on Friday night, the other half in a local hotel. We then regrouped Saturday morning for a whirlwind walking tour of downtown DC. Tim and I never take the Metro downtown, so we thought it would be fun to ride the train in. Kellan and Jared (a month apart in age) had a ball with each other and on the train!

The train dropped us off on the Mall, so we then walked towards the Washington Monument and on to WW II, Lincoln, Korean and Vietnam. Henry is happy to take a break on a step near Lincoln along with some of the other crew. Since it was Columbus Day weekend, it was rather crowded. Also the blue sunny and warm skies drew big crowds.

A stop along the wall near Washington Monument. Henry has had enough and takes a snooze. Kellan then falls asleep in my arms on the train ride back home. A very fun day!!
