Yay, it's Mommy's Birthday! Can't ask for much more than some sweet loving snuggles and kisses from my boys!
Kellan helped Daddy make me a yummy red velvet cake. Kellan loves to help in the kitchen. It's not always "help", but it's fun to let him try!
Tongue is out in concentration with the decorating. Very pretty, can't wait to eat it tonight!
Kellan insisted I open a present at lunch time. So Daddy gave in and let me. A gift card to one of my favorite Leesburg stores that I shop at once a year, my birthday time. (they also send me a gift coupon each year too). I later opened a Kindle from Tim. Can't wait to use it!
It was a little cloudy in the morning after Hurricane Irene had gone through the night before, but it turned into a picture perfect sunny, breezy day! We walked to the park and flew our kite, played at the playground and came back home for a bit of baseball while Daddy grilled out dinner.
It's hard to get Kellan in the pictures these days. That's ok, I got my other sweetie, Henry, who's always willing to say "cheese"!
