Henry Theodore is 18 months old! And he certainly has a big personality! Just look at his many expressions in the pictures and that explains who Henry is, a very happy and silly boy! Henry is on the go because he must keep up with big brother Kellan. I think he has passed up Kellan in some areas. Henry is not afraid to try anything, which makes Mommy (and Daddy) very nervous! He loves to be outside, playing ball, riding the assortment of bikes (especially Kellan's), feeding our neighbors fish (grass and mulch), digging in the dirt, splashing in any kind of water he can find, going to the park....you get the idea here. The kid doesn't stop moving!!
Talking isn't something we've caught onto yet, but screeching and pointing we have! He knows what he wants and it's up to us to figure it out, or we must endure the screeching! He can say a few words, like Mama and Dada (which is often yelled, over and over!), Uh-oh, ball, Ah-don(all done), choo-choo, buh-bye, gok-gok (rock, rock, when we're in the rocking chair), kee-kee (kitty), ba-ba(for his sippy cup). That about sums it up. I'm feeling the words are coming soon because he certainly is trying. It's funny, I'll give him a task of some sort to do, and he knows exactly what to do. He is a good helper with picking up toys, throwing away garbage, washing his hands (anything to play in water!) and sweeping.
He can be serious too and still loves to cuddle (for short periods). He loves to read books and will pull many off the shelf! He likes to give kisses too (open mouth, with tongue out!).
It's Spiderman, no it's Henry. Kellan is very much in to Spidey these days, so of course, little bro has to be too! Super cute!
Check out my very short haircut and all my teeth! Henry's all head and that would explain why his head circumference is in the 96th %! All brains! :) His 18 month check up last week put him at almost 27# (69%) and 33 inches (69%). Watch out Kellan, he's catching up!
The portrait pictures were all taken in June, but I'm just now getting them on the blog. Henry was very cooperative, not so for Kellan. He was having a very "off" day which made Mommy not so happy. But we did capture this sweet photo of the two of them!
Just a remembrance on this day, 6 years ago, we lost our little angel "Patrick". It was such an unbelievable sad time for Tim and I, but it's hard to be sad now, especially when the Lord has blessed us with two healthy, sweet boys!
