Our very good friends, the Warnock's, came to visit for a few days. We've been anticipating their arrival all summer and Kellan was so excited to see his buddy Grant again. We visited them last summer about this same time, so Henry was only 6 months old, Ellie 8 months. Lots has changed, but our friendship hasn't, despite the distance between us! We headed downtown Leesburg for First Friday and stopped to listen to a couple bands. Kellan and Henry were willing dancers.
Saturday was dreary and rainy, so an indoor activity was needed. The Heritage Farm Museum it is. It has a little fun for everyone. Race horses, a puppet stage, an old-time store and kitchen, a cow to milk and eggs to gather (one of the favorites!)
Who's tending to this store anyway? They sure are cute!
Jill is looking pretty sassy in her farmer hat! Not as sassy as Ellie though in her pigtails!
Kellan is showing Robbie how to milk the cow. Nice work boys!
