Mommy and Daddy are so lucky to have a wonderful family willing to travel to us and take care of our kids, so that we can fly to FL for a wedding and some r&r! Kellan was counting down the days until his cousins came. When he woke up Thursday morning, they were already here and Kellan says, "Mommy, are you leaving now?" Ok, I guess we won't be missed!! Henry on the other hand knew something was up because he clung to me the whole day with blankie in one hand and binkie in the other. Momma's boy! All was good, the boys had so much fun with their cousins: Nick, Noah, Devan and Jayde, Auntie Darlene and Uncle Jeff.

After a long day in the sun and water, Kellan fell right to sleep on Jayde's shoulder. Love that picture!
The Lanz cousins all had to leave before we got back, but G'ma and G'pa came to the rescue. Jayde decided to stay a couple more days. She's a great helper with Henry and playmate to Kellan. She was upset and crying one evening after talking to her Mom on the phone. Kellan says to her "It's okay Jayde, your Mommy will be back in a couple weeks". Oops Kellan, I think you meant days! ;)
Nothing like a few mud pies to end the evening. Henry took it quite literally and decided to sample one. Ick! Good thing it's bath night!
The evening we got home, we had a mini birthday party for G'pa's 75th birthday the following day. Kellan sang and helped G'pa blow out his candles. We all enjoyed some yummy cake and ice cream! Kellan told me several times after we got home, "Mommy, I was missin you!" followed by several hugs and kisses. And Henry wouldn't even think about letting me put him down, even for a second! It's good to know I'm missed sometimes!! :)
