Tim and I traveled to Youngstown, OH for my friend Amy's wedding. I met Amy 10 years ago at Ohio State when I worked on the Transplant Unit. She has been a dear friend. We met her husband Dan for the first time at their wedding. Beautiful couple and ceremony!! This also was a first date and overnight stay without our little man!! We met Jeff, Darlene and kids, G'ma and G'pa at a Dairy Queen to drop Kellan off. I wish I had a picture to show Kellan's reaction to this parting. Let's just say that he has entered into the separation anxiety phase of his life! Knowing he was in great hands, no tears were shed on the parents part (well, I think Tim was close). We communicated throughout the evening via text and phone pictures! What a wonderful thing those cellphones are! We all survived and Kellan got to know his cousins, aunt and uncle a little more which is the best part!
