We packed up our gear and ventured to Sandy Point Beach Sunday for a day of relaxation. The beach is located on the Maryland shore of the Chesapeake Bay, at the base of the Bay Bridge. Kellan was eager to get out of his car seat after we got to spend some extra quality time in traffic due to an earlier accident on the bridge. We lathered up Kellan with sun tan lotion, found a nice spot on the beach, and started with a picnic lunch. Kellan took his first walk on the beach (carried him), dipped his toes into the bay, checked out the waves, saw some guys buried in the sand, and people watched. It was a great day and we think he will like the beach as much as his parents do.
