The boys were so excited about Halloween this year. Perfect ages! We decorated the night before b/c Hurricane Sandy made a presence and only would have blown all of our decorations down. A few spider webs, a couple ghosts, a bat, come pumpkins and we'll call it spooky! Time to Trick or Treat!

I had to work until 5, so I hurried home to help the boys with their costumes and to get ready for the big night. I came home and found Tim laying on the couch in agony. He apparently had done something to his knee earlier in the day playing BB. I gave him a big bag of ice, some Advil and told him to stay put while I ran the boys out for some Trick or Treating. I put the bowl of candy on the porch with a note to take 1. Off we went. First time in our new neighborhood, so lots of kids out. So fun!
The best part! Looking at and sorting their candy piece by piece! I managed to stop them from shoveling it in their mouths! Well, I think Henry shoveled, Kellan is just content analyzing it.
Next up, taking Daddy to the ER to get his knee checked. We loaded up the boys and drove to our old neighborhood where there is an ER. I dropped Tim off and took the boys home to get ready for bed. Our friend and old neighbor, Dave, so kindly came and picked Tim up and brought him home with a brace and new pair of crutches. Nothing broken, just a bad bone bruise! What a night!!
