We started our mini getaway at the Catoctin Zoo that is located just north of Frederick, MD on our way to our final destination, Dutch Wonderland. We were surprised at how many different animals they had here. Tucked away off a main highway, it's very woodsy and jungle like. We spent a couple hours here and finished with a picnic lunch before heading on to our next stop.
