I enjoyed a weekend away with my 4 great girlfriends, thanks to Tim! He surprised me one evening shortly after his hernia surgery with this trip. He felt I needed some rest and relaxation after taking care of him and the boys. We chose to go to Charlottlesville since it's not too far, but there is lots to do. Drove down Saturday morning, strolled the downtown mall area, had lunch, then went off for some much needed pedicures!
We had an entire B&B to ourselves with our hostess Flip and her sweet dog Emma. Very comfy and relaxing.
I think we ate our way through Charlottesville. Enjoyed a yummy dinner at an eclectic Italian restaurant and topped it all off with dessert!
On our way home Sunday....stopped for more food, wine and relaxing! We had a great time, as we always do!
