Kellan's birthday actually started the day before, which confused him slightly. I brought his class some cupcakes for their afternoon snack on Friday. Nothing like a little sugar to rev them all up before they go home for dinner!! :) Kellan didn't want to smile for me like everyone else did. The kids were so cute, as soon as I brought out the camera, they knew just what to do. They gathered all together and started saying "cheese". We then all sang Happy Birthday to Kellan.
The morning of his birthday, we reminded him that finally, this was his day! He was excited to open a couple of presents. A Buzz Lightyear and some animals. Two of his favorite things.

A little love for the bro. We told him that Buzz was from Henry. He sweetly told Henry "Thank you Henry!"
We decided to do a Toy Story themed brunch party. Kellan's dear friends, cousins and neighbors attended. He was very excited!
Henry got some extra special attention from his cousins Aileen and Carolyn. Kellan insisted on playing with each gift he opened. Here he is trying to play Chutes and Ladders with Brennan.
11 in the morning isn't too early for cupcakes, is it?? When I asked what Kellan wanted for his birthday about a month ago, he said "chocolate cupcakes with sprinkles". Well, that's what he got! :)
We saved the best for last! His Radio Flyer scooter. We had it hidden in the garage. Love his big smile when he opened it. He immediately said to us "thanks for my scooder, its my fave-wit present!" And off he rode!
Just the 4 of us celebrated yet again in the evening with a special #3 cake and a sparkler candle. Happy Birthday Kellan, our sweet, sweet boy!! Love you to pieces!!
