It turns out that it is not such a good idea to stuff too many things down the laundry chute, because it will not make it to the bottom where the washing machine is located! It remained clogged for a couple weeks as we tried to figure out the best way to declog it. Tim even took the problem to work and was open to suggestions. Yes, we got a lot of suggestions, many of them quite humorous, but also not appropriate. We did a photo shoot and video of the one option that seemed popular in the office. So here is Kellan with his rope ready to dive in...
Here's what we actually used to clear the problem. A long rope with a 10 pound weight.
Here's what came out the end: three other hand weights already thrown down to try and clear it, the culprit-a crib bumper, and an assortment of other clothes and stuffed animals. I also retrieved 2 pairs of capris that I thought I lost....last year!! Haha!
