Sunday afternoons are enjoyed spent walking, hiking or biking. We decided to stroll the C&O Canal on the Maryland side. We stopped for a picnic lunch and a look at the Potomac River. There were many bikers on the trail, some on a race. We met these two particular bikers after our picnic. One was on his way to Pittsburgh, the other was on his way to California! He had already biked from Delaware. He said he had a blog site, but we couldn't find it. It's hard to see in the picture, but his shirt says "Beer Belly" and it looks like the jelly bean Jelly Belly logo. He definitely had a beer belly!! But I'm sure he won't if he makes it to CA!
