It's Henry's special day at preschool. Special days honor one student and they get to choose what they want to do, be the leader for the day and bring in whoever they want to share the day with. Mommy and Ian got to be the special persons alongside her sweet boy! We start the day off with circle time, Henry gets to choose his spot first. We filled out an info sheet at home of some of Henry's favorite things and more about him.(favorite color-green, what do you want to be when he grows up-veterinarian like U. Jeff and Gpa, where or who do you want to visit-cousin Devan, what does he like to play with-Legos, and other questions I can't recall. We also picked our favorite Saint to talk about which was St Francis of Assisi who is a patron saint of animals. A very fitting Saint to discuss since we also read Noah's Ark book today along with a Noah's Ark craft.
Henry gets to wear his crown he made just for his day and hold the candle for prayer time.

Next he gets to open the mailbox for Freddy the Frog puppet. Today they are learning the letters K and L.
An even more special day because we get to walk to the big church for story time.
Showing and teaching the class how to genuflect. They aren't looking too enthused!
The whole class was present today and so glad we could get a picture in front of the alter with the beautiful poinsettias.
