Ian Timothy came into our world at 11:05pm on Saturday, July 6th, 2013, 2 weeks early. He had mom in labor for almost 2 days! We arrived at the hospital around 7 pm so thankfully we didn't have to endure hours of hard labor. Thank goodness for epidurals! Daddy was still convinced he was a she so was a bit surprised. 7# 11 oz, 21.25 inches long. Our biggest baby and with the most hair. Already resembles Henry.
Daddy picked up the boys Sunday morning after breakfast for their first visit. When I talked to them on the phone and told them they had a brother, Kellan responded with "Henry won". All along Kellan was hoping for a girl while Henry was convinced baby was a boy and wasn't going to have it any other way! To see their excited faces when they walked into the hospital room was just heart warming. Kellan repeatedly said, "he's so cute mom!" It was a battle over who was going to hold him and kiss him first and the most!
