It was a gorgeous evening and Daddy was playing softball early enough for us to come watch a bit. I packed dinner and we headed to the ball field to meet him there. The game started at 630pm, the boys lasted almost to the end of the first game. They were winning by a pretty good margin so felt safe to leave. I brought the boys' mitts so we could practice a bit on the sidelines.
