Happy 3rd Birthday Henry Theodore!!

Happy 3rd Birthday to our sweet, brown eyed boy! Hard to believe 3 years have just flown on by!  Henry is our little ham of the family. He makes us giggle daily, sometimes hourly. His big brown eyes are so expressive and animated and they just suck us in! Henry does a good job keeping up with big bro "Ke-wan" and loves to do whatever he is doing most of the time but is also very content at playing on his own (something big bro never learned!).  Henry loves his trucks, dinos, playing music(Daddy's drums or his guitars), dancing and playing ball. He's not all rough and tumble though, he's a great snuggler and is ultra sensitive! He can turn on those crocodile tears and stick that lip out (aka Mr Lip) in a second when getting into trouble.  Which makes it extra hard for Mom to get mad!  He's been at Open Arms since the beginning of the year, the same 3 days as Kellan. We're still in the adjustment phase but he's getting better.  He often comes home singing a new song they learned in music class.
Henry woke up first this morning and was very excited to finally be 3! He's been practicing with those fingers. We let him open one of his presents while waiting for Kellan to wake up.

What is it Daddy?
Thanks G'ma B, a fun cash register!
Cha-ching
5 and 3, can it be??!!

Oooh, Zingo!  Thanks G'ma L!
Ready to go camping
A cool new talking transforming dino, I think this was the favorite

Henry got to spend the day home with Mommy and Daddy. Both off work since it was also President's Day. Kellan went to school as usual for a shortened day. We played with all the new stuff, then went to the mall for a bit to ride the train, the carousal, play on the playground and eat Chickfila, all of Henry's favorites!  We then picked Kellan up after nap time to go to Chuck E Cheese. Another of Henry's requests.  We stayed for pizza and games. "Uncle Duck" (Chuck Hayden), met us there too.  He hadn't seen the boys in awhile so wanted to join in the fun.

It's always more fun to play someone

Who's the Fruit Ninja?
Chomp, chomp goes the ticket eater. How many?

Looks like enough for 2 blow up swords
Watch out "Uncle Duck"!

We didn't have our birthday "cake" yet for the day, so Henry chose Luvinberry for his dessert. It's a yummy self serve frozen yogurt place with all the toppings you can imagine. Henry is my chocolate lover, so chocolate icecream, with chocolate sprinkles and brownie pieces for him! Yum!

Good stuff!!  Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!! We love you!!

Addendum: The very next day after his birthday, the binky fairy came to take all the binkies away. Other babies were needing them, especially the one in Mommy's belly!  A little wimper or two was all we heard the first night, he asked about it the second night, then hasn't mentioned it since! Much easier then Mom and Dad thought it would be.  He is now a bit more attached to his blankies and will pick a stuffed animal out to carry around as well. Such a good boy!
We also went full force with the potty training, school helping us as well. A week after his birthday we decided to just wear underwear and get rid of the diapers (pullups for nap, diaper for bedtime). He did it without any problems and had had maybe 2 accidents. Yay Henry!!
