January Days

We have seemed to slow down on the picture taking these days. Maybe because these boys move too fast for me to even get a shot. So, I don't really even have enough pictures to do all kinds of separate blog entries, so you get one big January entry.


Jan 15: We had our wonderful Wood cousins over for dinner and game playing. A few months have gone by since we've seen them so we had lots of catching up to do. Kellan didn't miss a beat with his pal Brennan. I couldn't catch them to get a picture! Henry is cozying up to Connor. The girls, Carolyn and Aileen were full of extra giggles tonight.

Jan 21: Our second snow of the season which didn't amount to much. Maybe an inch of more ice than snow. The neighbor girls, Bella and Sarah were out with their sled, so kindly took Kellan and Henry on a few rides. Henry felt the need to wear his helmet. It was very icey, so good job cutie for being so safe!! :)

Henry in one of his ornery moments. Kellan is very much into Legos right now(the very small ones). So Henry has to join in the fun too, which usually ends in them being thrown all over the place. And in this case, the whole tub dumped with Henry in the middle! But who can stay angry at that cute face?!

Jan 21: Busy day. We babysat Ruth in the evening so her Mom and Dad could enjoy a date night. She came for dinner and playtime with the boys. They had fun snuggling on the couch while watching "Pajaminals". I took Ruth to her house then to put her to bed. One girl+bedtime=Easy-peasey!

Henry, in yet another silly moment. He's my happy cheeser!! A little snuggling with his dog, Harmony. Henry enjoys Harmony for the most part and gives her attention, where as Kellan could really care less about her (I guess he's taking after Mom in that department). Henry barks his own commands at her too.

Jan 27: To the Pickett's to celebrate some birthdays. 3 of her 4 kid's birthdays are in December, but since it gets a little hectic around the holiday time and with some sickness, the party got a big postponed. Pizza and cupcakes is the perfect evening for us! Happy Belated to Cody(5), Ethan and Emily (3)!

Jan 28: It was the weekend for birthday parties! Kellan's best bud in school, Ciro, had a party at his house. 5 of the boys he loves to play with at school all got together for some games and cupcakes. Kellan is loving this cupcake-a-day thing! He came home with lots of goodies and prizes he won playing games.

Ciro's Mom is so smart! She set up a "picnic" on the floor for the party. One big plastic mat means a super easy clean up. Note to self!

The boys love to look at themselves on the camera after I take their pictures. So here's a couple happy kids! :)
