Sunday, May 16,2010~ Henry Theodore received the grace of God through baptism surrounded by his loving family! He is blessed to have such wonderful godparents, Aunt Ann and Uncle Pat Nortz. They made a quick trip here from Ohio just for this very special occasion, we are so thankful for them! Henry was sweetly admiring his godfather during the ceremony.
Henry wore his Great-Grandfather John Theodore's baptism gown which is 104 years old! Grandma Burke had it stored away, so we washed it up carefully and put it on Henry. It held up beautifully and Henry looked precious!
Our other sweet boy Kellan did a marvelous job keeping busy and quiet, thanks to the help from his godmother Darlene and cousin Jayde. Oh, gummies (chews, as Kellan calls them) and animal crackers play a big role in that too!!
Henry was fussing right before it was his time to get baptized, but as soon as he felt that water trickle on his head, he became so stoic and peaceful.
He then just layed on my lap, cooing and smiling. So happy and filled with the love of Our Lord!
