When Tim got home from work, we headed outdoors to enjoy the 70 degree weather we've been having. Tim hadn't yet tried our new stroller so we took the boys down to the park to watch some guys play soccer. Kellan so badly wanted to play with them. We had him cheer on the sidelines, shouting "Goal" with arms in the air anytime they made one. Our neighbors were out playing basketball, Tim stopped to shoot a few while Kellan looked on. He loves our neighbors sons who are in high school. They are so sweet to Kellan and always come play with him.
Kellan helped Daddy open his presents. Kellan and I then sang "Happy Burday, Daddy" (as Kellan says). Check out the video.
After Kellan was put to bed, our neighbors, Dave and Laura Brown came by for some more celebrating of Tim's Day and St. Patrick's Day too. They have Ruthie who is 1 1/2 and a buddy of Kellan's. Henry got to stay up with us!
I asked Tim a couple weeks ago what he wanted for his birthday and he gave me the same response as last year and that was "A Job!!". Well, his wish came true today. Tim not only has 1 job offer, but 2!! Tim said it has been 1 year and 33 days, but he wasn't counting. We've been so blessed to have this extra special time together as a family even though it added some stress at times. Thank you to all our friends and wonderful family who have been so supportive, sending lots of love and prayers to us! Tim is finishing up a consulting job next week and will take some time off to be with us. We're so proud of you honey!!
