Sorry for the lapse in time with our blogs. We have been busily getting ready for #2, so have neglected posting and keeping everyone updated. Actually, we just haven't been taking pictures! We took Kellan to the Natural History Museum in DC a couple weekends ago after Mommy has been feeling guilty and sad that soon it won't just be the 3 of us and thought we'd better get this little boy out of the house! No better place filled with all the animals he loves. The big elephant in the center of the entryway was a favorite and we came back to check him out several times. We didn't get too many cooperative "family" shots since Kellan much rather be on the run. We could have stayed in the mammal room all day long checking out the hippos, zebras, giraffe, bears, monkeys, etc. They are so life like. Kellan would have loved to have been able to get behind the glass to touch them. We explored the dinosaur room some, but since it was skeletons, he was a little hesitant. The museum also has a large ocean room with all species of fish that Kellan found fascinating too. He's really at a fun age to take to places like this now. To see the amazement in their eyes is great! We are really looking forward to warmer weather so we can head to the zoo again.
