We spent a gorgeous Saturday afternoon at Great Falls park along the Potomac River. We brought a picnic lunch and then did some "hiking". This is a park we bring many visitors. We tend to downplay the term Great Falls ever since my sisterinlaw Darlene said after seeing the falls, "oh, that's it??". (sorry Darlene). It definitely isn't Niagara! The water is particularly low right now, so it's very rocky, but we enjoyed watching some kayakers navigate thru some rapids. Kellan always loves getting in his backpack. He gets a good view above Daddy's head. We all sported our scarlet and gray in honor of our Buckeyes!
