Lanz Chapter 2

Wednesday was a day at the community rec center indoor pool. We all had fun splashing around. It was too hot and humid to be outside. Above, Danisa is holding 2 of the 11 adorable golden doodles that Leah (Kellan's dog-cousin) had. Leah is Jeff and Darlene's golden doodle that they have bred twice now. Devan, Brendan & Noah play a mean game of Whack-a-Mole. Breanne and Jayde have fun opening their gifts at our birthday party celebrating Noah (10), Jayde (5) and Breanne (4).

"Acres of Fun" is where we spent the day on Thursday. And that's exactly what it was. Go-carting, bumper boats, putt-putt golf, laser tag....very, very hot, but very, very fun!! Danisa and Noah are getting bumped (hey, isn't that illegal?!) by G'pa and Devan.

We missed Nick (Kellan's oldest cousin) when we were home, but he had spent the week at a band camp at a local college. Thursday evening we were able to see him play their final concert. I wish I had some pictures to share. Fantastic job Nick!! (Nick plays the trumpet and he was second chair in the band)
