Kellan and I journeyed home to Ohio for a couple days. We needed a change of scenery. Daddy stayed back to work, we missed him! Kellan gets lots of attention from his cousins, which he just loves! Grandpa had some knee surgery the week before so Kellan and him were taking it easy in their chairs. On Wednesday, Grandma, A. Darlene and Mom made strawberry jam until it was coming out their ears. But now we have a freezer full to last us all year. YUM! We missed seeing U. Jeff and A. Renee and little Brooklyn. Our hearts and prayers go out to A. Renee's Mom who is battling cancer. U. Jeff and Nick drove out to Iowa with a van load of others to help sandbag the levee. They are real troopers! We are also sending many prayers to all those affected by the flood. Great Grandma Roses's house is one of them. We've had many wonderful memories at Grandma's house!
