Cherry Blossom Time in DC
Last weekend we took a quick trip around the Tidal Basin to see the beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom. It was rather cold and rainy, so we didn't do our usual extensive tour. My Aunt Becky and Uncle Larry were here for a short visit and had never seen them. And of course, it was Kellan's first time too. Some of you may not know that this was the site that Tim proposed to me back in March of 2000. He tucked the ring under a cherry blossom that was lying on the ground and just about made me fall of the ledge I was sitting on. So, these cherry blossoms have extra special meaning to us!

Thanks for sharing this awesome site with us, we really enjoyed seeing your family photos and seeing the little guy! Tim, Kevin really enjoyed your phone call yesterday and hopefully you will all be able to see each other when they are back there this summer. As always great to hear from you and talk to you soon.
